How can I book Greg and his wedding band?
Thankfully it’s very easy! If you would like Greg Byrne to perform at your wedding, corporate event or private party, simply fill out the details on the short and easy contact page. Availability is the first thing to check as Greg is booked well in advance!
Every week Greg performs around town in different formats ie duo, trio or full band. To catch him LIVE is the BEST way to see him in action and give you a taste of what you will get at your wedding or corporate function. The gig guide is updated weekly. This will give you a chance to meet Greg face to face also.
How long will the band be playing at my wedding reception or corporate event?
Greg’s prices include up to 5 hours attendance featuring 4 x 45min sets of live music, and background/”DJ” music on iPod controlled through the provided sound system during band breaks. Please note, the 4 x 45min set times can be adjusted to fit in with your specific running sheet – that is, the 180mins total playing time can be positioned however you like.
The 5 hour duration satisfies most wedding reception and corporate event durations as most venues work to 5 hour packages – usually 6pm to 11pm, or 7pm to 12am. If you would like the band at your reception for a period longer than 5 hours, that is of course fine but an additional cost may be involved.
What songs will the band play at my wedding or corporate event? Can I choose the music?
Greg has an extensive repertoire of songs which has been put together and thought about carefully. Chilled out sets comprise of usually jazz, soul, reggae and soft pop rock. Dance set are usually rock, pop, dance, funk and overall classics to sing, jump and cry to! There is never a dull moment where the dance clears though an incorrect song choice.
Songs specifically requested off the song list are more than welcome!
Do you travel out of Sydney?
Yes. Extra travel charges apply and in some cases where it is over 3 hours out of Sydney accommodation will be required.
Can you provide music for Cannapes before the reception?
Yes. It would just an acoustic guitar and vocal OR an extra player to make it a duo format for up to a 45min music set. For Greg to perform alone, it is an extra $100 or with a duo partner $200 in total.
